INSIGHT is a 100% automated image quality test and analysis system, and related consultative services, designed to uniquely evaluate the imaging quality performance of mobile devices. An estimated 700 million phones with cameras will be sold in 2006 and yet, until now, no consistent definition or method to judge image quality performance has been commercially available. 100% automated test and measurement system The INSIGHT System scientifically analyzes digital image quality using proprietary and standard test processes that measure and rate performance on multiple, essential digital image quality parameters. INSIGHT’s table-top sized controlled test lab environment, integrated with SozoTek’s advanced data capture and control software, uniquely produces test data in a consistent and repeatable fashion, analyzing and reporting in a concise and useful format.
Expansive evaluation of quality aspect performance INSIGHT Tests measure performance on at least 18 image quality parameters including noise, exposure, linearity, color reproduction, white balance and subject failure, focus and lens aberrations, flat field, gamma, dynamic range, and other quality aspects.
Unique SozoTek Image Quality Score (IQS) INSIGHT tests yield results which are consistent with and illustrative of real world user results. Individual test results are scientifically weighted and combined into the overall SozoTek Image Quality Score (1 to 10 Best), developed by SozoTek labs. The SozoTek Image Quality Score gives the user the ability to quantitatively compare, rank and track image output quality within device versions and between devices, on specific quality parameters or overall image quality performance. Test results are generated in summary and detailed reports which includes a summary score card and the performance data and rating for each parameter.
